I think maybe there are people who need help. I take my boat and go to the ship. It looks like a Spanish ship, but there%u2019s no one there, just a happy dog. I find boxes with different things, like guns, gunpowder, gold, silvers, shirts and shoes. But gunpowder and shoes are more important for me. Some boxes are small, some boxes are big. So, I go back many times to get all the useful things.I decide to watch the beach more. I go to the beach every day for the next two years. I hope to see a ship. One afternoon, my wish comes true. I see five canoes with more than thirty cannibals on the beach. I can%u2019t fight them, so I hide and watch through my telescope. The visitors make a fire. They dance around the fire. I also see two other men. They are tied. They are prisoners. The cannibals kill one of them. When they don%u2019t look, the second prisoner jumps up. And he starts to run away towards me. I want to help him, so I hide a tree. The man runs fast but the cannibals are faster. I prepare two guns. When the first cannibal gets close, I jump out and surprise him. I shoot him. The second cannibal tries to shoot an arrow at me, so I have to shoot him too. The prisoner stops when he hears the gun. He turns and looks scared. I smile at him. He comes to me, kneels down, and puts his head on the ground. He stands up, looks at the dead cannibals, and goes to their bodies. He looks at the holes in their bodies and probably can%u2019t understand why they%u2019re dead.I take him to my hidden cave where nobody can find us. I give him bread, meat, and some water. He%u2019s very tired and falls asleep immediately.He%u2019s young, slim, but very strong%u2014maybe about 25 years old. He has long black hair, dark skin, and a pleasant face. I let him sleep and go outside to watch around.
